I have been waiting for this moment since I was 6-years-old. Which is why I decided it was only right to share it with you – a person, I imagine, who has struggles of their own. Who has wanted something so badly and has had no clear path or idea of how to get it. Who has flirted with rejection, failure, and has made more mistakes along the way than they would like to admit. I’m sharing this with you because it has not been easy – but it has, in a weird way, been beautiful. If more people gave me a “yes” answer along the way, I fear maybe this moment would not have happened when it was supposed to – which is right now.

So enjoy it and please forgive my tears. This is raw emotion, the kind we shutter behind closed doors. But not anymore. I always share my laughs with you and now I am proud my tears.
